How do allied health consultations work?

For some things, you need a doctor. For others, you need someone more specialised. Mosh has a range of registered psychologists, counsellors and dietitians available to help you on your healthcare journey.

To book an appointment with a psychologist or counsellor:

  1. Go to the Mental Health page and click ‘Book a therapist’.
  2. Complete the online assessment questionnaire.
  3. You’ll be asked if you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). See What is a Mental Health Care Plan? for more information. If you have a MHCP, upload it here. If you don’t, you can choose to either proceed without one, or book a complimentary consultation with a GP on the Mosh platform to obtain one.
  4. Select a therapist from the range of psychologists and counsellors available. Our therapists are based all across Australia. They work remotely and your consultation will be via video conferencing from the comfort of your own home.
  5. Book an appointment at a time that suits you.
  6. Create an account or login to your Mosh portal if you are an existing member.
  7. Checkout, and prepare for your appointment. See Preparing for my appointment.

To book an appointment with a dietitian:

  2. Select a dietitian. Our dietitians are based all across Australia. They work remotely and your consultation will be via video conferencing from the comfort of your own home.
  3. Book an appointment at a time that suits you.
